On May 2, 2020, Inner Mongolia Derui Biotechnology publicized the energy-saving review document on its website, covering the annual 10,000-ton thiamethoxam, 20,000-ton 2-chloro-5-chloromethylthiazole and 3,000-ton clothianidin technical project, which is currently moving forward speedily. Inner Mongolia Derui Biotechnology is a subsidiary of Hebei Derui Chemical Co., Ltd.

The project is located in the Low Carbon Industrial Park of Wuhai Economic Development Zone, covering an area of approximately 170,235 square meters. The main products covered by the project include 10,000 tons of thiamethoxam, 20,000 tons of 2-chloro-5-chloromethylthiazole and 3,000 tons of clothianidin technical. The total investment of the project is Yuan559 million, including spending of Yuan70 million on pollution control, which accounts for 12.52% of the project investment.
